I am currently finalizing a Middle Grade novel, tentatively called “Between Dime Box and Blue.”  It is a coming of age mystery novel set in in 1965, the year rural Texas schools desegregated. It’s about that transitional moment in our youth when we realize that doing the right thing isn’t always easy and being invisible doesn’t keep us safe.
